To enhance the child’s talents - Swimming, Horse riding, Football, Cricket, Basket ball and Tennis are offered under the supervision of the expert coaches. Well developed play field for track events and other modern facilities enhances the physical development of the children.Volleyball, Table Tennis, Badminton, Throw ball, Kho - Kho, Karate, Silambam (Stick Fight) and Athletics are also offered at IIS.

Other co-curricular activities include Elocution, Debate, Recitation, Dramatics, Quiz, Essay Writing, Yoga, Art and Music for which training is provided to enable students to participate confidently in both intra and inter-school competitions. The school has well-qualified teachers to train the students in Classical & Western Dance, Key Board, Drums and Band.

Children Movies are shown in the indoor theater, where many other programmes are also conducted. Important National Festivals are celebrated on the campus.

A State-of-the-art auditorium with a seating capacity of over three hundred people with hi-end audio-visual facilities, centralized A/C and good acoustics. The auditorium serves as the ideal venue to host seminars, conferences, exhibitions, workshops, theater and cultural performances of all kinds.
